Just noticed that NASCAR didn't grant a Charter to the Wood Brothers, one of the oldest teams. What a kick in the balls.

Yeah, don't give a charter to a team who announced last fall they would be running the whole schedule in 2016, but they give 2 charters to a guy who's team folded up in November, and had announced mid-summer of 2015 that the team would be folding.

NASCAR sucks because they have layer upon layer of management types who don't have a clue about racing. Idiots like St Louis & Bruno must be looked upon as Gods down there (which explains a lot).

They had a system in place and thats what they followed. Can't fault them for sticking to there own rules.

Kinda like us not being considered full timers because we borrowed a car for a race and never changed the number. Yet the driver attempted to qualify for every race.

There wasn't a system in place in 2015, and there wasn't one in place until the teams were already in Daytona in 2016. When they came up with their charter program, Kauffman's team was already out of business.

As usual, NASCAR simply looked the other way when it came to their "rules", just like last season when they allowed the Busch brothers in the chase*.

NASCAR doesn't have "rules", they just have different standards for different people.

Maybe Devil's Bowl could learn from NASCAR and remove a bunch of seats so they can say how they sold out!

They would have to remove most of the seats, but you know after bragging about banquet attendance Justin would be flipping out of his mind if the Toilet Bowl were to "sell out", even if it was with only 100 people there (and half of them on the BOGO deal).

I bet Bruno was down at Daytona as a guest speaker telling all the promoters the marketing advantages of BOGO, and how it increases attendance.

That Bruno is as sharp as a marble.
